John has been employed by the Procter & Gamble Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio for 36 years. As a Chemist, he has worked in Research & Development on household products like Pringles, Crisco, Old Spice, Febreze and Pampers. Married 32 years to wife Terri, they have three grown children Renee (husband Walker Slater), Scott (wife Meaghan), and David who is recently married and serving in the Navy. John and Terri recently built a log home. It should be noted Terri is enjoining her time with small babies/grand children around the house to indulge and spoil. John enjoys weekends on the farm handling the routine chores along with some of the bigger jobs which include upgrades to the barn buildings and new fencing. Brothers Tom and Dale and son-in-law Walker have been a tremendous help with the bigger jobs. Also, investing in a new John Deere Lawn Tractor and Gator along with a 28 ton wood splitter during 2009 should come in handy during work time!
Other activities of interest include benevolent work with Midwestern Children’s Home in Milford, Ohio and the Arlington Church of Christ where he is a member. One of the more relaxing farm jobs for John is riding his John Deere mower or bush hogging on the John Deere 4720 tractor where he says he does his best thinking.
