Bauer Brothers Farms
Life on the farm
Soybean harvest has begun. Consistently hitting 60 bushel per acre for a good a harvest. Now we need price per bushel to increase 🙂
Calves have been weaned from their Mamas. Going to send them to market in a couple weeks
The trees and brush along the lane have now been removed!
Trees and brush along the farm lane has been contracted to be removed
I can’t wait to see the finished project. It should creat quite a pile for a bonfire.
I have just added several video clips for my recent Jun 27 – July 6 trip to the farm. There will be more additions in the next few days.
I have just added a new page under Activities, Live View. All 8 video surveillance camera are up and functioning. The direction for you to subscribe directly to the video feed are there too. John had a busy day bush hogging the pasture to get the farm ready for winter.
Our first calf for the 2014 year has arrived! John has been busy taking down, packing up, and returning 7 video cameras that failed. Hopefully in the next 10 day to 2 weeks we will be back up on line with live video feeds.
Tom, the website looks great. I have it bookmarked as a favorite and thank you for sharing.
The site is really looking good.
We got the OK from Lorex to send the one video camera and DVR unit back for replacements today. Thank goodness they were still under warranty.
We now have the internet up and running again. Thank you John for keeping up with the various service people. The next project is to get the Video cameras back on line.
John spent part of Saturday working with a plumber to install a new “foot valve” on the well. If all went well we now have consistent water pressure.
